There are many kinds and uses of transformers, and the main technical parameters are different. Generally, the main parameters are given on the nameplate. What are the main parameters of transformers?
1. Rated power
Rated power P, this parameter is generally used for power transformer. It refers to the output power when the transformer can work for a long time without exceeding the limited temperature under the rated working frequency and voltage. The rated power is related to the cross-sectional area of iron core and the diameter of winding wire. Under the same conditions, the larger the cross-sectional area of the core, the thicker the conductor and the greater the rated power.
2. Rated voltage
Rated voltage (U) refers to the maximum working voltage that the ring transformer can withstand for long-term reliability and stable operation. The high-voltage side of the transformer is provided with tapping taps, and the output voltage at the low-voltage side is adjusted by adjusting the number of turns of the high-voltage winding.
3. Transformation ratio
The transformation ratio (k, also known as transformation ratio) is the ratio of the output voltage U2 and the input voltage U1 of the transformer, that is, the transformation ratio calculation formula
4. Efficiency
Efficiency( η) Is the ratio of output power P2 and input power P1 of transformer at rated power, expressed in version fraction, that is, the efficiency calculation formula
The higher the output power, the higher the efficiency, and the lower the output power, the lower the efficiency. The efficiency value of the transformer is usually between 60% ~ 99.9%. Generally, the smaller the rated power of the transformer, the lower the efficiency.
5. Rated capacity
Rated capacity is mainly used for power supply, rectifier and power transformer. The maximum capacity that can be transmitted during continuous operation at rated voltage and current is the basic unit of volt ampere (V). A) and kilovolt ampere (kV. A).
6. Rated current
Rated current is the maximum current that the transformer can pass for long-term reliable and stable operation under rated capacity.
7. Frequency characteristics
Transformers have a certain working frequency range, and transformers with different working frequency ranges can not be used interchangeably. If the frequency of the voltage applied to the transformer exceeds its frequency range, the temperature may be too high or it may not work properly. Yidat is mainly high-frequency transformer (at present, the selection, general design and use of transformer according to service frequency of most transformers).
